Cutting Loose is Back…
… following an activity-rich adventure in destinations that provided the most awesome imagery. Just for fun, and since the monsoon is keeping you (mostly) indoors, would you like to wager a guess about where these snaps may have been shot?

I wouldnt know that….But I do know is that I am as green as the background of your photos.
You have just added one more destination to my list – without me even knowing where this place is. Wow!
Please do tell us more about it…..& welcome back.
Thanks, Chat. Going green was the idea!
Good to see you and your lovely pictures back.
Wanted to let you know, I have moved to Chd now, back to hometown. Would love to meet you someday π
Now, that’s a welcome, Vibha! Back at you, too.
We’ll certainly catch up, sooner rather than later. Mailing the co-ordinates to you…
beautiful photos Puneet.
Thanks
Beautiful. Must know where? Quality of snaps match those in National Geographic.
I am flattered, thank you. Will keep the suspense just a little bit longer…
Wonderful locations…wherever they are.
Looking totally monsoon-y.
Yes, we did meet the monsoon halfway!
Very pretty pictures. Well composed.
Thanks Nippy
Periyar.
Incorrect. Please try again π
Nilgiris?
I’m afraid not…
Great shots. Totally envious…:) Are they all taken at the same place?
Thanks. They’re from the same state alright π
somewhere east?
Nope…

I have been to Mercara and stayed there but could not find the beauty that you have captured in your snaps…Wow
Hidden gems? Or perhaps the onset of monsoons…
Beautiful coorg, feel like visiting the place
South Coorg is plantation heavy, hence tourist scanty. Recommended.
Lovely photos, and no people!
Thanks!
Welcome back, Cutting Loose. Your posts were being missed!
Coorg looks beautiful through your camera. Another must-go destination noted down in one’s list π
The place and its facilities look similar to what I saw in Sri Lanka last year, which is not surprising I guess. Same geography…
It’s good to be back, thanks!
Coorg is beautiful as long as one looks beyond the towns. The rain there can be severely inhibiting, yet creates breathtaking moments. Definitely must go!
Awesome pics..
Thanks π
Long time ago I did visit Coorg, but I am forgetting the name of that area. It was back in the year 1966, I still carry faint pictures of that place, very fine smooth rolling hills.
Perhaps you are referring to Madikeri aka Mercara ?
